So, I'm getting about a mile of walking in per day, but after a week, I'm still a bit winded and overheated when I finish.

Date: 2008-05-10 07:11 pm (UTC)So slow down for periods and then speed walk for a few minutes (2-5) and you'll see some real differences quickly. Otherwise your body will find a new plateau but then just relax into that one. So you can keep a plateau from ever really forming by changing pace.
