Gonna be a busy night tonight and tomorrow night - lots to do before Technicon. Last night, [livejournal.com profile] raininva and I assigned stats to all the Badge Wars characters, so progress is being made on that front.

  • Run more laundry tonight.

  • Rain and I need to make sure that the BattleBots are ready and that we have good batteries for them.

  • Burn a CD for Dwight (with the dance cuts he wanted).

  • Contact [livejournal.com profile] trenn to see if he has duplicates of the last two XXXenophile cards I need for a complete set. Offer trades.

  • Build actual badges for all Badge Wars characters and enter assigned stats.

  • Design Badge Wars rules cards.

  • Rebuild my Junkyard Geeks video-capture system to get badge photos for several characters. Still not sure what I'm going to do for art for a few characters such as The Vile One.

That's everything I can think of off the top of my head, though I'm sure there's more.

Do me a flavor if you get the chance? Is there any way you could get some sort of working version/showable thingie for WfW's first scene? I have the CDs but I doubt I could show those at the con without an act of congress...

Maybe dub down to a camera's format you're bringing with you? I want to show at least the first scene, I'm still trying to see if I can find the finished version since work has kicked my butt and I haven't made it up there to finish it yet (but I will dangit!!!)

WfW showing...

Sorry for the late response, I was very very darn busy last night...

I will bring it along in a Technicon-compatible format. :) It might end up being VCD or QuickTime if I can confirm they can play that - mainly becuase I don't think we are bringing either camera. If they can't play those, I'll just go ahead and bring a camera anyway (though I'm not 100% sure we have any blank tapes).

One way or another, it will be there!

Yay! Thanks! If you just felt like bringing your MiniDV cam for me to log my footage with...*laugh* I just keep getting frustrated because I _know_ I copied WfW onto one of these dang tapes, but I still haven't found out which one. Gar.

Thank you so much for bringing it!

So, which ones do you need, anyway? I have a list of my cards at hand, and the one set of cards that's in the binder sheets is at hand as well. So I can easily lay hands on ONE copy of a card. On checking, I do have at least two of many of them. So get back to me whenever, I'm not working at the store until next Wednesday evening. :D

Hmm, that's a lot of laying on of hands, in that post.

Eh, it's in the spirit of the game. :D

Muchly appreciated! I'm missing "Buffalo Gals" (a one-point Modern card), Syd Krause (a six-point Modern card), snd that's it.

Well, I have spares of both of those, so I will bring both cards with me to the con. See you there!
