  • 10:57 Lots of Wachovia phishing spam in the last 48 hours. No click from me, impaired-grammar scammer. #
  • 11:44 I *heart* dailycostume.com for all the masquerades I don't get to attend! #

What Wachovia phishing scam are you getting? I'm with Wachovia as well, and I haven't received anything.

Well, I've deleted them all, but it's a little five-line email on a yellow background advising me that Citibank has bought Wachovia, and that I will need to update my security certificates or some such by clicking on a link.

The link, when examined (but not clicked on), always reads something like "http://security.webservices.wachovia.com.server.1234567890987654321.hosting.joeblow.org/cgi/imatrojan.exe" - I never click on links in email with mousing over them first.

The e-mail has bad grammar and spelling, so despite the CEO's name at the bottom, I feel quite comfortable clicking the "junk" icon.
