Mmm, you shouldn't see what I spend on shoes, then. I have sandals that were...$120 (with an extra $30-$60 sunk in for new footbeds), but I've had them since some time in high school. I also have walking shoes that cost about the same, also had since high school.

And my boots. They run $80 - $120 a pair, and I desperately need to take better care of the next set of both, since this batch has been horridly abused.
