I'm sorry for your mom. I went in hospital, and I hated it. Be sure she gets flowers, and make sure you check with her doctor about the "blood thinner." Usually they aggravate existing conditions rather than cause them. So be sure that any underlying issues are addressed, as well as the continuation/discontinuation of anticoagulation therapy.
