Hard to say whether this is a forgery or not, but this web page claimes to have a revised clip of the last scene in Return of the Jedi. Yes, Sebastian Shaw's face has been replaced with Hayden Christiansen's.

They did say they were shooting new footage for drop-ins into the original trilogy... Given what Lucas has done, I completely believe it.

On the one hand, it looks to me to be a fairly well-done fan job- the contrast and color ar further off than what Lucas would consider acceptable.

On the other hand, I have heard rumors to the same effect.

However, if they do that, shouldn't Alec Guinness be replaced by Ewan McGregor?

I thought in the middle segment that the head wasn't even quite on right. Why would they replace just the head when the whole body would be easier to do? Also, I'm not sure why he was looking down.

I prefer to believe it's a good fan job.
