Ow. (Achoo.)

I have been moving heavy furniture and kicking up serious dust since Wednesday afternoon. Now, I have a cheap bargain respiratory tract which is allergic to everything, so by last night I was sore from the neck down from lifting and carrying, and my nose was plugged solid.

I can breathe now, but everytime I sneeze I still feel a burning sensation in the muscles of my back. And right now, everything I eat or drink tasts like dust.

On the other hand, now when [livejournal.com profile] meiran comes over to do her video editing, she won't take one look in my office and refuse to associate with me ever again. So that's a plus. Also, there's now enough floor space that I can actually walk over to my desk, slide the chair out, and sit down normally, instead of doing the complicated "hop-hop-pirouette" I had to do before.

Now if only that @$%&* new hard drive would get here...

Pop a few Altoids. 10 or 12, maybe. Sure, everything will still taste like dust, but it will be minty-fresh dust. :)

*laugh* If I still had it uploaded to my geocities space, I'd show you a picture of my room that I took in early high school/middle school.

I'm amazed I lived in that...my bed was usually where my clean clothes went, rather than the dresser...let's just say it was bad. And my room now isn't a picnic either. I wouldn't have cared : )

On the other hand, I do know how nice it is to have an excuse to have to clean up something you've been meaning to clean for a while...I need one of those for my room.

*hugs* Thanks for all your help. You're fantastic : )

Nothing to do with dust at all...

Hey!

What do you think about the idea of starting a RS journal, much like the Tcon or Katsu or Neko or 5 billion other con communities? We could also get Tony to do a link for it off the Rising Star page, thus sucking in other LJ people that might be lurking out there.
