How do you make the link open a new window as opposed to simply shifting to the new page?

You use the [target="_new"] parameter inside the [a href...] tag. (I know, geekspeak...)

Opens in the same window: [a href="http://www.appleturns.com/scene/?id=5197"]lost its collective mind[/a]

Opens in a new window; [a href="http://www.appleturns.com/scene/?id=5197" target="_new"]lost its collective mind[/a]

Of course, use the proper angle brackets instead of square ones :)

She said something last night about having responded to that. She reads her gmail account almost every day, so i expect she's see it :)
